Top award to TOPS Club conference organizer

Destination Halifax awarded another Halifax champion with the Ambassador Award at the Taking Off Pounds Sensibly IRD 2010 Conference held at the World Trade and Convention Centre, July 15-17. 

Jeanne Myatt is a true ambassador for the city in every sense as she used both her professional and personal influence to ensure the conference would be hosted here, as well as guarenteeing an enjoyable time for all of the over 2000 registered delegates.  She was also a recipient of this award for her work with TOPS Club Inc. in 1995.

International Recognition Days (IRD) is hosted annually to honor TOPS members and celebrate their successes. How very fitting to choose this moment to recognize Jeanne Myatt for all her hard work and pride in both the TOPS Club program and the city of Halifax.
