The Management team at Trade Centre Limited in Halifax was recently awarded the MPI Atlantic Canada Chapter - NMID 2010 Influence Award.

The National Award Program is designed to recognize people or organizations which have supported the development of meetings and conventions or the development of policy and programs impacting the industry. Each chapter is to recognize one person or organization in their community who has made a difference to the meetings industry but may not be actively involved in it. The NMID Award gives the Chapter an opportunity recognize the accomplishments of people or organizations contributing to the meetings sector and strengthen relationships with external supporters.

Past recipients include RCR Group (2007), Pier 21 (2008), and Halifax International Airport Authority (2009).
